This matte black dial is typically a vulnerability for most watchmakers- it’s just very unforgiving when it comes to specks and imperfections- but this looks super clean, and the applied almost “breguet numerals” and their gold tone contrast perfectly with the darkness of the case and dial.
The texturing on the offset small seconds dial looks very nice- I will say, if you’re a stickler for symmetry then this probably bothers you.
When we flip the watch over we see a very, very nicely finished movement with a micro-rotor!! And that is absolutely what’s allowing this piece to have a sub-10mm thickness.
