This is a vintage shop, so of course, this is a vintage diver! Well… Kinda.
Ya see, this vintage-inspired CW C65 Trident LE was actually made circa 2018- but boy does it look old school in the best way possible!!
This “vintage” diver is not only gorgeous and very capable (with a 150M water resistance rating) it’s also accurate, boasting a COSC Chronometer grade, 27 jewel, Swiss Made, manual wind movement!
The beautiful small seconds sub dial sweeps smoothly at the 6 o’clock, while the stylized date window sits tastefully by the 3.
Let’s be honest though, when it comes to this watch, the real “elephant in the room” is the bronze case! I cannot think of anything more classically nautical than a true bronze dive watch!
This piece is already showing a slight patina on the metal, but after you wear it yourself, and perhaps get it wet, I’m sure the aging process will look even more alluring.
